We had sooooooo much fun in Zakynthos and I got to check a few things off my bucket list that I have been dying to do/see. Both of my sisters were with us with their husband and fiance. It's always fun to travel in a big group, especially when it's family. We went to so many beaches, this is just a few of them. The water was surreal. I've been to some very amazing beaches in Hawaii and in the Caribbean, but these take the cake. Not for the sand, but for water color. It honestly looked like someone dumped blue food coloring in the sea. It was the prettiest water I've ever seen in my life! It was impossible to keep Atticus out of the water too, even though it was a little chilly. He would crawl right up to the edge and if I wasn't watching him like a hawk he'd probably just dive head first. He definitely doesn't get that from me, he must get it from his Dad:) We did a boat tour through caves and David of course was doing back flips off the boat in to the caves - he's cray I tell ya.

Hi Amber, I am planning to go to Zakynthos next year. I have been planning to go for so long now. I was wondering what month you were there? was it busy or quiet? Your photos from Navagio beach look amazing! but how was it so empty? I always see photos of it crowded with people & would love to avoid this. I was reading your travel tips & that you went on a water taxi & were able to spend 3 hours there instead of the usual 1 hour. What time of the day did you arrive to the beach? Hi Michelle!! How fun!! I am so excited for you!! You will love it 🙂 And I honestly don’t remember the company name but there are a few of them, and you can purchase tickets on the spot, I believe it was 20 euros/person. They all pretty much do the same thing! Sorry I can’t be much help!!

I love following along on your travel adventures, especially since I have a son just a couple weeks older than Atticus and we are Americans currently living in Germany and travel all over with him 🙂 I’m wondering, if you had to choose one, would you go to Santorini or Zakynthos? How much time did you spend in each place? We want to do your similar itinerary but don’t think we have enough time to do both. Congrats on sweet little Rosie btw, she’s so adorable!

I saw the post now, oh i love greece so much you need to see Chaldikidi too i was there last year nice sand beaches and clear water!! You had luck that the beach was so empty when we were gone. When we come it was so many people but the clear water made everything fine!
And you need to visit spain, Mallorca has a great water and nice beaches away from the party places.

And we actually just took a boat from a dock nearby where they sell tickets to go to Shipwreck beach. On the way back, the boat takes you through blue caves, I believe it was 15 euros a person. We loved it 🙂

Ugh, your hair is goals! I’ve tried so hard to recreate your braids but I guess my hair is too thick…I have a lot of hair so whenever I do braid either hair goes flying everywhere after 5 minutes or it looks like a giant bun of hair!

Gorgeous! Love following your adventures. Question: Are the Steve Madden ‘Rillie’ Two Strap Sandal comfortable for walking/travel? I’m heading to Germany for two weeks in July and on the hunt for a somewhat comfortable sandal to pack. Just need something not too stiff that doesn’t require a ton of breaking in and straps that won’t rub my feet raw.

Holy guacamole! Seriously. I was thinking, “That water color looks fake!” It is so incredibly beautiful and that shot from the top of the cliff looking down at the water…to. die. for. I was in Mykonos a few years ago and these shots just make me want to be there right now!!! The water color was really similar and even when you’re there, the whole experience is just unreal. It looks like you guys had so much fun & that is like the perfect vacation when you’re pregnant because you get to be with family, relaxing, and seeing beautiful sites around Europe.
