February : Podcast & Book Club
Lifestyle February 2, 2018It is officially February and I am so excited for this month's club selections. For the podcast this month, we will all be listening to an episode of your choice from the How I Built This podcast. Pick an episode and when we meet for our discussion, you can talk about the episode you listened to. I was going to pick a specific one but there are soo many good ones so I figured everyone just pick one that sounds good and then tell us which one you picked! This is my favorite podcast next to Super Soul!
For our book of the month, we will be reading Present Over Perfect by Shauna Niequist. I wanted to do Present Over Perfect even though I know I have already read it!!! It’s one book I REALLY wanted to talk to everyone about so I thought it would be fun to do, so all of us could chat about it. Also, I have been dying to read it again! I first listened to it in an audio book, but I want to get a hard copy and highlight pages and rip them out for my bulletin board at work. I really think this book helped me to be a better mom and wife, so I wanted us all to read it together because I think you guys will love it and benefit from it also.

Gosh, I love that book! My favorite of hers is “Cold Tangerines” – you should read that one next! Excited to read the discussion posts 🙂
This is actually a book on my audible wishlist….maybe now I’ll be listening to it if you say it’s worth it. 🙂
Your style of books is right up my alley!

I still need to finish the last 20 pages of Big Magic but excited to start on this one! Hard copies are great and I had never written or highlighted a book until Big Magic and I really liked how engaged it kept me even when parts of the book may have not been the most interesting .
