Exploring With The Boys
Fashion January 2, 2015^^A's excited face in this is no joke. He LOVES strangers and his limbs go stiff and start shaking with excitement when he sees people walk towards him - it is so hilarious.
^^He is so snuggly in this 7 A.M. Enfant sleeping bag that ANYTIME we go out with him in it he is asleep within 2 minutes haha. We always plan to go out during his nap times and it works perfectly.
^^I stinking love the lights at the Chelsea Markets!!!!
^^My FAVORITE crepe place in THE world. (Golden Crepes) I have gotten these crepes every single night on seamless when I have stayed in NYC for Fashion Week and I was so excited to take David here. I don't know what it is about their crepes but they are so tasty. I get the mixed berry crepe with homemade cream sauce inside and whipped cream and ice cream on the side
^^We got out A LOT with Atticus so when we are out with him at a restaurant and he is awake we request a booth and have him lay down, of course holding onto him. (usually on a blanket but this time we didn't - oops) and it makes it much easier for both of us to eat.
WHITE LEATHER JACKET: Mason via Saks (less expensive version, here and here) // JEANS: AG Jeans // SCARF: ASOS (another almost identical one here) // BOOTS: Stuart Weitzman // SWEATER: Vince (similar one here that is 70% off) // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker // LIPSTICK: MAC 'Saint Germain' // STROLLER: Uppababy // SLEEPING BAG: 7 A.M. Enfant // DIAPER BAG: Ju ju be
These oversized scarves from ASOS are my favorite thing about this winter!!! THEY ARE LIKE BLANKETS. And it is the bomb. Oh and they are literally $40 and under... the best. Shop them all here. I literally want to get them all!! I love to bring them on the airplane with me too and literally use it as a blanket haha. But I love to just wrap them around my face and neck and shoulders and it is the ultimate wind block while still looking cute. A million thumbs up.
I have been wearing my Stuart Weitzman boots on repeat because they are so comfy but also because I won't wear them in the snow so trying to wear them while I still can. Which by the way...... it snowed in ARIZONA over the new year and still no sign on snow in NYC! What the heck is up with that?! I am dying for some snow!!! I love watching Chauncey run around in it and my inner clock is ticking.
Its been so much fun exploring the city with my boys. It is kind of daunting thinking about how much there is to see and I want to see it all and eat at every single restaurant. Impossible I know but I love that there are just endless options here. It is so fun to plan out our weeks and what we area we are going to explore that day. We always get home and check to see how far we walked that day and to see we walked six plus miles is the norm for us now. I am just really really obsessed with this place even if we are living in close quarters and paying $$$$ rent. I will take it!

I truly love the sleeping bag idea, I will purchase one for my godchild, they live in Canada and it is cold up there until around March. Great Idea, your baby looks snuggly and warm.

506 Miles: from Detroit to Nashville
we are just heading home from exploring Chicago for a bit with our four littles in tow- it was a wild adventure and completely hilarious. I looked nowhere near as glamorous as you! Hopefully on our next go around I’ll have a better idea of how to dress everyone!

We do the exact same thing with our little guy when we are out to dinner! We take some toys and let him lay down in the booth and play. And if we are really lucky, sometimes we can get him to take a little nap while we eat.

I really just want to say that I was so excited that you’re wearing such practical shoes for all the walking around. So many times I see bloggers who are wearing heals while walking around the city and I just get so amazed that someone would do that to their feet haha.
xo.
