I have been wanting to film this hair tutorial for so long and finally did!!! I have always loved messy, undone looks and this one takes the cake in my book because it is SO EASY. Each time I do it, it looks so different. Sometimes I do the twist I do in this video, but sometimes I just pin it up messily more like I did in this post, here. Any way you do it, the key is the teasing and the half up. The half up is what will keep the height and volume. If you try to do this look without the half up you won't be able to get the full effect :) This hairstyle is also really great if you are trying to get your hair healthy and don't want to put any heat on it. Hi! I just saw your snap about the negative feedback on this video. I love Brigitte Bardot and am so happy you posted this since it looks like a simple and quick updo for busy days. As for the constructive feedback you were asking for, I think the video felt a bit rushed and I did wonder how you got the hair to look perfect after the video finished (There’s the end of the loop of hair that I wasn’t positive how you got tucked in and looking so polished after the fact). Either way it’s a beautiful hairstyle and I will definitely try it, thanks for sharing!

Hey I saw your snap story asking about why this video had dislikes and all I can think is that it kind of cuts out early. It looks like when the video stops the loop part is just left hanging out wildly, but the other angle and pictures make it look so polished, so it didn’t really show how you tuck that loop part in? Just a thought! As always you look awesome and your blog is my absolute favorite because of how personal and real you make it. Never stop being you and putting yourself out there because it’s what I feel readers connect with the most!
