Holidays January 4, 2016Here are some photos from our Christmas! Atticus made this Christmas sooo much fun.. I was giddy and couldn't sleep the night before because I was so excited to see his reactions in the morning. One thing I love about Atticus is how expressive he is.. he gets SOOO excited about everything (which also means he gets SOO sad about things too haha) but its so fun watching him flap his arms around and smile and gasp when he gets to open gifts. When he saw his bear he stopped in his tracks, dropped his bottle and stuffed bear and ran to him with the biggest smile ever - we got video of it and it was so cute! I loved our Christmas jammies this year and love that we all got matching ones! I ordered them way back at the beginning of October and they were backordered but still supposed to arrive in time.. it was SUCH a pain getting them and I never did get my matching top but I am glad we ended up getting everyone else's even if it took many phone calls and a lot of work ha. Matching Christmas pj's are so fun. We also loved reading about all of your Christmas traditions in the comments and started some of them this year so thank you for all your fun ideas! Your family is adorable I’m in love!!! The pajamas are adorable and so cute how you all matched! Been reading your blogs every day and it makes me smile. You’re all gorgeous and Rosie and Atticus are beautiful! Amber, I have read your blog for years but honestly I think this is my favourite post ever. I adore your Christmas ! That bugaboo pendleton is beautiful, we have a bugaboo and my husband lives in pendleton shirts that we have shipped to the uk from America, he can’t believe the crossover! And I just adore the carols in washington square park, that huge bear and all of your matching pj’s. I’m definitely adding matching pj’s to our Xmas traditions list. So far we have: my husband and I have Xmas eve hot chocolates/ gingerbread lattes in a local cafe, we go to a tiny church on Xmas eve in the north Yorkshire moors where we live (this year they had donkeys there and we all sang little donkey to them!), we visit this huuuge stately home a couple of days before Xmas which has a farmers market, candles and Xmas trees in every room and a pianist by an enormous tree playing Xmas songs, and we do the Xmas eve box which has pj’s, a tree decoration, a toy (teddy this year as shes only 1) and a book in it for Xmas eve. We were intending to add a dvd and hot chocolate for future years but having read your post I think I’ll get a bigger box and add whole family pj’s (dog included) too! I’ll also add baking to our traditions as you did. Thank you for the inspiration 🙂 Cara xx

I love love love this! I adore how you put a sheet down for little A to decorate cookies and I love how your dad makes you all fresh OJ from home grown oranges..how much stinking fun is that?!? I wish we could grow citrus in OK, but no such luck. I love the adorable matching PJ’s as well…too cute! Keep up your fun traditions, your children will have the best memories of them!

Looks like a wonderful Christmas time! I am glad you guys got a Christmas family picture. I use a Canon 3D and can tap into it with my phone and then use my phone as the remote. I bet you can do it with your 5D. It works great for us

What a lovely Christmas tradition of wearing matching pj’s! And it looks so cute on family fotos too. We’ll look into adding that to our own family Christmas next time! I don’t know what type of camera you have, but there’s a fairly good phone app for Canon called…Camera Connect. It acts as a remote, and you don’t have to wait for a timer.

Awwee this is just breathtakingly adorable! I love Christmas and can spend hours looking at people’s Christmasphotos. I love how everyone had their own traditions and ways of celebrating. I’m from Sweden and we celebrate Christmas Eve and not Christmas Day wich is a bit strange I think since there is not many country’s who does this. But I sure did have a fantastic Christmas and New Years but now the fun’s over and right now I’m stufying for a huge test next week. I am studying to become a preschool teacher and only have one year left of the university (of a total of 3,5 years). Thank you for such a wonderful blog and you are so inspiring and I always leave your blog with a huge grin on my face, so thank you!
