Well I am sure you saw on Instagram but we are having another baby in November!!! We are so so so so soooo excited!!! Atticus obviously doesn't know what is going on but he is so sweet and cuddly I know he will be a good big bro! I was super close in age to all of my siblings and we are all such good friends and I want all of my kids to be super close as well. Atticus and the new baby will be about 17 months apart. I am still pretty early but I am showing (you can totally see a bump in some of my recent posts if you pay attention hah!) and I kept going back and forth if I should just announce it or wait, but the tipping point was when I tried on my dress a second time for my sisters wedding and bammmmm - there is no hiding that bump! So I figured everyone will know come this Saturday when I am in my dress, might as well announce! I was soo shocked to see how fast I am showing this time around - it is crazy. I remember announcing at 17 weeks last time and having no bump in sight. I had to ask my doctor to double check I wasn't having twins because I was almost certain there had to be twins in there.
I keep trying to decide if we will have the gender be a surprise or if we will find out.. I can find out in a week and a half and it is sounding pretttty fun to know right away. I don't think I have the patience to wait! But we will see.. I am still debating it. Both genders would be so fun.. a boy would be fun for A to have a little best bud and just because I am in total boy mode and have realized how stinking awesome baby boys are! They really are thee coolest. But then a girl would be fun so I know I have my girl! Then the rest can be boys :) I have to have a girl at some point even if that means having ten babies! So knocking it out as #2 sounds pretty nice. But I found an amazing doctor in NYC who will be delivering my baby and I am super excited I found her. I loved my last doctor so so much and was worried that I wouldn't be able to find one that I love quite as much but luckily the first person I went to was fabulous!
I haven't been sick at all - luckily. If my pregnancy is like my last then I have pretty easy pregnancies and I definitely count my blessings for that because I hate seeing my friends get so sick during their first trimester - that is no fun! Although I do have very large babies (its in my genes!) so I get very whale-ish. I remember not feeling like I was massive with Atticus, and when people on IG would say things like "holy cow you are huge!" "you're going to pop!" I remember being a little offended like "I am not THAT big!" ........ and then looking back on pictures I am like ---- WOAH GIRL. Literal whale status. My belly gets so so so big! It feels good to announce it though because it was getting hard (impossible) to hide my little bump! Super excited to share this next chapter with you guys.
Thanks for all your sweet comments on my instagram announcement, honestly they made my day and I read every single one of them. It really does mean so much to have your support and I feel like I am friends with a lot of you, I love love love it.
